Synovate, a firm specializing in global market research, uses creative approaches in its marketing services. When Whitney began working with Synovate they kept their forward thinking mentality in mind. After developing a standards program at their Chicago Headquarters, Whitney was able to integrate this environmental brand throughout the North American offices.

While encouraging spontaneous employee interaction and collaboration they were able to condense their square footage nationwide. Synovate’s environment trades formal for casual in its desk units, conference rooms and seating areas. Using the guiding principle of “environment determines habit,” Whitney created workstation file cabinets that double as modular seating units, and mobile dry erase boards, allowing for impromptu meetings and better accessibility between co-workers. Whitney and Synovate distinguished each location by employing a motif that reflects the cultural diversity of each city.

A cool color palette, complemented by vibrant paint and fabric accents, forms the basis of the contemporary surroundings. Synovate wanted its employees to feel comfortable in an expansive office area, as well as have access to rest areas. To accommodate these requests, Whitney provided break rooms and several lounge areas with mobile furniture solutions. Synovate’s offices reflect the openness and curiosity of the firm while maintaining its sense of integrity and professionalism.
