Coming from an inefficient facility that did not facilitate the types of tasks required to keep Gibson at the forefront of their industry, they challenged Whitney to develop an atmosphere that would foster collaboration and provide the tools to efficiently complete their day to day tasks. All while giving their office a fresh look to represent the new leadership that had recently taken over the company.

Whitney designed a space that showcased what Gibson does best. The use of an open plenum ceiling highlights their infrastructure and cable management capabilities. The data center was retrofit with a glass front, specialty lighting and is located in a prominent area of the building to act as a marketing tool for prospective clients. A clean, crisp color palette was implemented with bursts of their trademark red to accent.

The heart of the project was in reconnecting the experience of arrival at the office with the authenticity, comfort, and inspiration of the travel experiences A&K offers.  Layers of material and light in the reception area carefully displayed ancient artifacts in a tastefully understated manor, complimenting the corporate brand.
