SXC Healthcare Solutions, Inc. provides a wide variety of health care transaction processing services and information technology solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, mainly in North America.  Coming from a facility with an inconsistent aesthetic, this fast-growing company turned to Whitney for help in developing a sleeker and more predetermined design for their US Headquarters in Lisle, IL.

A business that needs to be up-and-running 24 hours a day, SXC possesses a work culture emphasizing drive, dedication, enthusiasm and discussion, and this culture needed to be reflected in the design of the space.  A large data center and 24-hour call center were implemented in the new design to support SXC’s rapidly expanding business. To enhance collaboration between employees, Whitney incorporated several conference rooms and informal seating pods into the office space.

Whitney also used demountable walls to unify the aesthetic of the different offices while allowing for faster construction and installation. Additionally, with 20 offices scheduled for relocation over the course of a year, efficiency in the design and its implementation was essential.  Whitney documented all design guidelines in order to provide a clear basis for the corporate Resources Global group to communicate the new image to the local users.
