Covenant Village of the Great Lakes

After touring and photographing the local area, Whitney created a design concept for Covenant Village that captures the nautical spirit of the Great Lakes region. The use of the arch theme in the millwork and opening between the living room and reading room reflect an architectural detail found in many homes of the area. The fireplace with its arched windows and flanked by built in bookcases is the focal point of the living room which provides a variety of seating arrangements for great conversation with residents or guests.

The resulting space embodies elegance and comfort through the use of oriental patterned carpet, timeless traditional furniture styles, rich fabrics and soothing color palettes. Careful selection of art and accessories reinforces the regional feel. Whitney created an environment where residents feel at ease and have a sense of pride in their new home.

Paoli Showroom
Chicago, IL | Washington, DC | 15,000 square feet

On a tight budget and time frame, Paoli unveiled its new Chicago showroom image in time for the 2008 NEOCON World’s Trade Fair. The success of this project led to Whitney being commissioned to re-design Paoli’s 5,000 square foot Washington, DC showroom with the same branded identity and aesthetic.
